PANTYCHRIST provided the music for the fictional band MONSTER KITTEN in the independent UK horror comedy DEAD AIR (2019). The tracks used in the film were taken from 2011's 'ThE GiRLs NeXt DoOR' sessions and demos recorded for the shelved 'CrACkHeAdS AnD ENAbLeRs' album.

Set on a plane travelling to a final gig, Dead Air tells the story of Monster Kitten, an all female punk rock band who end up on a flight with some nasty little creatures who like to bite and infect their victims to the point of all hell breaking loose at 30,000 feet. With the help of their instruments, a tape recorder, a dodgy crew member and a bottle of piss, the band try to fend off the evil to get to play their final gig.

Project director Geoff Harmer recently stated to HorrorMadam.com "Pantychrist came out of a call for punk bands, specifically female punk bands. Their music fit so so well. It was like it was made for the film. Whilst we were shooting Dead Air, I played a few tracks from Pantychrist in between takes. I got a good vibe from it and it felt like the right attitude and sound for our band."
